We eat food every day, at any time of the day. Eating is a social activity, we like to eat together. But we don’t want people to see us with our mouths full of food. We like dining together, but we are not fond of seeing each other chewing on something, especially not when there is a camera around. Often we delete the pictures of family and friends when they are just taking a bite.

In my photo series I want to show this contradiction between the fact that we eat many times in the day, yet do not want to actually see people with their mouths full.  How weird is it, to see someone chewing?
